Information duties according to the Financial Services Act (“FinSA”)

 

This information should be read in conjunction with any marketing material provided to you and constituting the financial service of acquisition or disposal of financial instruments under FinSA.

Field of activity

LAM Schweiz is a financial service provider pursuant to FinSA providing the financial service of acquisition or disposal of financial instruments to Professional or Institutional clients. LAM Schweiz does not provide any other financial services such as providing portfolio management, investment advice or execution of clients´ orders.

Ombudsman office

Clients receiving a financial service from LAM Schweiz have the possibility to initiate mediation proceedings through an independent Ombudsman office.

The Ombudsman office for LAM Schweiz is Ombudsstelle für Finanzdienstleister (OFD), a free and neutral information and mediation agency.

Risks related with financial instruments

Trading financial instruments contains opportunities but also bears risks. An understanding of those risks is the basis for sound investment decisions. We recommend reading the brochure “Risks Involved in Trading Financial Instruments” of the Swiss Banking Association (SBA) which is available free of charge on their website (www.swissbanking.ch) or from your client advisor.

Information on costs

In connection with financial services provided, costs and fees may be charged by LAM Schweiz as well as by third parties. These costs and fees will be provided to you before the conclusion of a contract or before the purchase of an investment product.

Conflicts of interest

LAM Schweiz AG takes the necessary precautions to avoid conflicts of interest in its business activities and to protect you from disadvantages. If a conflict of interest cannot be avoided, such conflict will be disclosed to you and the appropriate action will only be taken with your consent.
